Peeling and scrub using coffee

24 May 2018

Preparing your skin for the sun is the first step if you want to start the summer in the best way possible. You may wonder, "but how can coffee house Michele Battista help us when it comes to beauty matters?" You should know that coffee is great for exfoliating the body and face, as well as being a useful tool for women to prevent water retention. Today we'll explain how to make a home-made natural body scrub and facial peeling using our favourite ingredient: coffee.   For the body scrub you will need: 2 tablespoons of coffee powder 2 teaspoons of olive oil Mix everything in a bowl to create a mixture that can be massaged on the body during the shower. How? Spread the body scrub on the legs, and start massaging with circular movements from bottom to top. Once the massage is over, rinse the body and dry it by dabbing the skin.   For the face, we instead recommend an exfoliating peeling. This is very easy to prepare too. What you need: 2 tablespoons of white yogurt 1 tablespoon of cane sugar 1 tablespoon of ground coffee Mix everything together and apply the mask to your face for 15 minutes. Rinse well with lukewarm water and finish off the treatment with a moisturising cream. The coffee mask will remove any dead skin cells on your face, leaving your skin feeling clean, soft, bright, and ready to welcome the sun's rays. Naturally, never forget to provide adequate protection for your skin!
